A new barn is only as good as what it's built on. If the floor isn't done right, you end up with cracking, uneven surfaces, and a headache every time you try to use the space. That's exactly why the floor pour is one of the most important steps in any barn build - and it's one we take seriously every single time.

This was a full concrete pour for a newly constructed barn in Aurora, Ohio. We handled both the interior barn floor slab and the exterior apron running along the front and side of the structure. Every inch of it had to be level, properly finished, and built to hold up under real use. No shortcuts.

The interior floor got a smooth steel trowel finish - the kind that cures hard and holds up whether you're rolling equipment across it or just using the space for storage. Outside, the apron got a broom finish for traction, with clean control joints cut in to manage cracking over time. Both finishes serve a purpose. That's the kind of detail that separates a floor that lasts from one that doesn't.

What you don't always see in a finished concrete job is the prep work underneath - the grading, the forming, the compaction. All of that happens before a single yard of concrete gets poured. We handle the site work side of things too, so when we show up to pour, the ground is ready. That continuity matters.

We're CB Property Professionals, and work like this is what we do day in and day out across northeast Ohio. Clean results, solid craftsmanship, and a crew that takes pride in what they leave behind.
